My name is April Kovara and I am a certified health and wellness coach.
I began my journey when my mother suddenly passed away and realized I needed to make some major changes in my health. I have two young daughters who need me to be the best version of myself possible, both physically and mentally. After making major changes to my daily lifestyle, I discovered a passion for being healthy. As a result, I now strive to share my expertise by educating those around me about the benefits of making decisions that will not only impact their health, but transform their lives.
What is Health Coaching?
Health coaching is a process that facilitates healthy and sustainable behavior change by challenging a client to develop their inner wisdom, identify their values, and transform their goals into action.
Lets face it. There is a lot of information out there about the latest and greatest fad diet, weight loss pill or piece of exercise equipment. In fact, most people know what they should be doing to improve their health and prevent various diseases, but the problem is they may not actually be doing these things!
They don't have the know-how, or they're confused by all the conflicting information out there and studies being reported. A health coach can support them by honing in on the health and diet information that's relevant to them as individuals, by providing step-by-step tools to create permanent changes for their health and well-being.
